Participants compete in several standard categories, the same for each discipline (running, cycling and duathlon).
• Men / Women – General Classification
• Men / Women up to 15 years (incl.)
• Men / Women 16–18 years (incl.)
• Men / Women Veterans 40–54 years (incl.)
• Men / Women Veterans 55+ years
*Age is determined by the year of birth of the participant.
Traditionally, all competitors who ranked in the top 3 places in each category (90 people in total) receive a special medal and symbolic cash or material prizes at the award ceremony (on Saturday for cyclists and on Sunday for runners / duathlonists).
!NEW! Amusnet announces a special record prize for Runners / Walkers in 2026!
Our partner, the software company Amusnet, has announced an impressive initiative on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the company. A special prize of €10,000 provided by the company will be awarded to the competitors who have improved the running records on the course – €5,000 for a new best result for men and women.
With this prize, Amusnet aims to encourage participants to an even higher level of performance, thereby making the event even more competitive and exciting for everyone.
Every competitor with Bulgarian citizenship who meets the following conditions is entitled to receive the prize:
1) Running the full distance of the course, observing all the rules and instructions described in the General Terms and Conditions of the event.
2) Finishing faster than the best times recorded in the history of the race:
– men (6:56:40 hours, Hristo Tsvetkov, 2025)
– women (8:56:39 hours, Maria Nikolova, 2024)
3) Submitting an anti-doping test at the National Anti-Doping Center on the day of the race (after finishing).
